Klefan Appreciation Week | Day 4: Favourite scene.

Also known as the moment Klaus Mikaelson fell in love with Stefan Salvatore.

All his life Klaus has been belittled. As a human it was by his ‘father’ and even as a vampire he’s hunted by that same man he’s expected to respect. But then some insignificant baby vampire comes along and everything changes. That baby vamp is called Stefan and he’s having the time of his life. His ripper tendencies intrigued Klaus, his personality kept him interested and I like to think that in their time together Klaus developed a crush on his favourite little rippah. But it was this scene which turned that crush into something a lot more. Klaus opens up to Stefan - he trusts him enough to admit his insecurities and his life story - and in return he is rewarded with Stefan’s honest admiration. Nobody else sees him that way and it feels good to finally feel important to someone(other than Rebekah~). Just look at the 5th gif and then try to tell me it ain’t so. You’ll struggle, that’s for sure, because right now I just can’t be convinced otherwise; that is the face of a man who has finally found a place where he belongs and that place is by Stefan’s side.
